Six Fisher Island on Fisher Island

About

From a private retreat to the last shoreline

The project, the Developer, and the history of Fisher Island — not a sales biography.

Fisher Island

A century on the water

Fisher Island’s modern story begins when Miami Beach founder Carl Fisher traded the island for a yacht to William K. Vanderbilt II. In 1925 Vanderbilt raised a Spanish Revival mansion that still sits at the centre of island life. What followed was a residential enclave on a tropical shoreline — not a mainland street.

Six Fisher Island occupies the last development parcel on that shoreline: about 6.5 acres and 650 feet of water frontage at 6 Fisher Island Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33109. The homes look toward Miami Beach, the Atlantic and Biscayne Bay.
